Brookside is basically the last locally owned gas station in this town.
Some of the better doughnuts in town, bringing a box to your department at work will put a smile on just about everyone's face.

Most of the inside products, food, drinks, tobacco are all literally about half price compared to Pak A Sak, Murphy or Shell.

Since I've live right down the road for the past 5-6yrs, its been the only local place that I have purchased gasoline and the staff have almost always been nice and friendly towards me. Quite a few know what I want before I'm even at the cash register. It's a nice feeling.

Had to wait on the bus all day with my service dog. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The afternoon staff deserves high praise for their help with customers from pumping gas for disabled and deliveries to vehicles.

The staff were super nice and they have the best doughnuts. Their glazed old fashioned doughnut is the best I have ever had. I'm very sad I am in Chicago and discovered this place stopping through.
