We have attended large Methodist churches (Boston Avenue) medium Methodist churches and the smaller Methodist churches but no matter the size the heart of Methodism is always present. Newcastle United Methodist Church has a sense of family that creates a true sense of belonging. We love this church, Pastor Lamarla, the lay pastors and our wonderful pianist. I tell people we may not be huge in numbers but we are mighty in spirit. For those looking for a place for you, your family or answers then this church is for you. The welcome that is extended to all makes you feel a sense of belonging the moment you are greeted at the door. God bless all who make this church the warm and welcoming spot so many of us enjoy attending.
