  Thank you Mike for your willingness and professionalism. Sure, you had a pile of work on the counter, and understandably you couldn’t do it while I waited. When you did test it, you were right, there was nothing wrong with my outboard’s old starter. It was the electrical problem at the battery terminal ends just as you diagnosed. I re-terminated those three cables and we have been back on the water this week.

  Took my alternator infant opening and I had a lunch and it works fine thank you

  Dropped a starter off and he called me the next day and it was ready to go

  Took my 77 year old hard to find starter here to get rebuild. He called 24 hours later saying it was ready and charged me a fraction of what I expected and was willing to pay. Was skeptical at first since it was so quick and cheap. Just finished installing it and this is the best my starting system has ever work period. Won’t hesistate to take something else to Shorty’s if the need arises. Couldn’t be happier.
