Great experience, and quick drive from Portland. Greeted nicely from the get go and everyone was friendly, informative and to the point. The horses were friendly and well trained. There was extra time to meet with some goats, a pig, some peacocks and a cat. Nice scenic guided trail ride through the woods with room for some faster trotting. We ran into some over growth spots of branches and bushes a few times but it didn't sour the experience. Highly recommend!
My husband and I had such a fun time riding at the Corbett Farm with Stuart. We enjoyed petting the animals and admiring the farm space. I've been searching for a place just like this for the last 10 years but didn't have much luck. I'm so glad we didn't give up! I got to ride Mayday and she was extremely responsive to my commands. Even with limited riding experience, I felt very safe. We requested to extend our ride to do the longer loop which I highly recommend. By the way, we had no idea Stuart was such a talented photographer. He was more than happy to capture our perfect day. We can't wait to go back!
I had the best time riding at Corbett Farms! Stuart is so welcoming, and accommodated me last minute for a ride before I left Oregon. The farm and stable are beautiful, with lots of animals and horses. I got to ride Rhea for the day, and she was a dream. I am a newer rider, and Stuart gave me a lot of tips to help me get better in my form. On our ride, we got to stop on the trail and have wild blackberries. I also had had the best trail mate, Boo-Boo, the farms resident doggy! I highly recommend getting in a ride in if you are in Portland or the surrounding areas.
Brought my niece and my sister to Corbett Farm for some horseback riding. The setting was welcoming and beautiful. Stuart took his time introducing us to all of the animals and making sure we were comfortable. We took a lovely ride through the woods in a light drizzle that was picturesque. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful trail ride with Stewart at Corbett Farm! It was my first time riding English, and Stewart was really helpful with tips. We happened to be there during one of the biggest snows Portland has had in 80 years, and it was absolutely beautiful. The horses were sweet and lovely. Totally recommend!!
