Portland Japanese Garden

The garden was beautiful! It was a little smaller than I expected, but it had nicely paved paths, nice spring blooms and a peaceful vibe. The queue for the Japanese cafe inside is super long, so make sure to reserve your spot first thing when you get in. Would be even more beautiful if the cherry blossoms weren't at the end of their bloom.

I have been to Japan multiple times. This is a genuine Japanese style garden, working in a bit of Portland, Oregon feel (pines). I rode a bike, which was fine on the return trip, but was steep on the way there. For anyone interested in visiting the tea room, make your reservation ahead of time. They were booked all day. A bit pricey, but definitely a beautiful garden. I was there a couple of hours.
