Salon Nyla

My new favorite salon! Crystal did an amazing job on my hair style. I really liked how to explains the product she used in my hair and how it works. I’m a forever customer now and would highly recommend this place! (:

At my age (senior), I knew I needed a change in hairstyle and a family member suggested I try Salon Nyla, So, I did. In the last years, my hair has gone from straight to naturally curly, so a new viewpoint in how to handle this change was needed. Gina was the answer. She took the time to look at my hair, handle it and made suggestions as to what would work with the characteristics of my hair and with what I wanted. Length came off the back and sides and now we’ll let the top grow out a bit. The style is now a curly pixie cut and I love it!

Gina was friendly and attentive to my needs. With the salon’s amended practices due to Covid-19, I felt completely safe there. I’ll definitely be going back!

I loved the results of my hair, as someone who's never experimented with my hair before! Shannon was awesome and very knowledgeable about what she was doing, and I loved the whole experience. I'd recommend this place to anyone here in Portland!

My mom is a hair stylist and I have only went to her for a hair cut my entire life. When I moved to Portland I dreaded having someone else cut my hair. I was pretty nervous when I set my appointment up at Salon Nyla, but I couldn't have had a better experience! Crystal was warm, welcoming, and very talented at what she does! I'm so blessed to have found Salon Nyla and Crystal. My hair feels great, looks great, and I have already gotten so many compliments!
