Very nice people, and great residents

This wonderful place fills a big need in our community. They've created a warm inviting place for seniors to visit and socialize, they provide meals, seminars on important topics for seniors, have many activities so there's something for everyone, the staff are so kind and friendly and know most people by name. They also will rent their variety of spaces out to the community when not needed for their activities. I've been to Cub Scout events there several times. We rented the place for a party, and they were so accommodating. Moira is the Director - and she's wonderful! She will do everything she can to work with people to meet their needs, and understands when things don't always go according to plan. This place is a gem and further evidence that the city of Sherwood cares about its residents - of all ages, stages and walks of life. So grateful they're here!

I have been volunteering at this establishment for a little over a year and it has been an amazing experience. The staff is caring and always striving to make a difference for the patrons. There is so much thought that goes into everything from meals to classes that are hosted. I truly feel honored to be part of this community.

Went to Cub Scouts promotion event there last two years. Good space and facilities, kept neat and clean. Access to outdoors for activities was helpful. People are great. They provide a lot of needed services for both seniors and the community. Thank you!

So much to offer! Loads of social opportunities with all the scrabble, pinnacle, mahjong, social dances, and more! Good lunches on weekdays. Friendly crowd.
