  I don't live in Pittsburgh anymore but when in I'm visiting family i travel to this church for mass as often as I can. It's a beautiful experience. I pray that I will someday have a traditional Latin Mass near me.

  Attended a pontifical solemn high mass celebrated by Archbishop Athanasius Schneider that was incredible. The church is run by the Latin Mass community of the Institute of Christ the King.

  Traditional Latin Mass. Beautiful, uplifting and reverent. What we want and need more of. Sadly, the only location in the area.

  Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish offers the Traditional Latin Mass and only the Latin Mass. The Holy Mass is said by priests from the Institute of Christ the King. The Latin Mass has a radically different feel to it than the standard novus ordo Mass or New Mass. Years back I drifted away from the faith. But when I had returned to church, it seemed as if it was lacking something. Although I could not put my finger on what it was. The Latin Mass community displays a much stronger sense of reverence than any Christian community that I've seen in the city of Pittsburgh.
  
  It wasn't until I started going to the Latin Mass that I noticed teenagers in line for confession saying the rosary, while kneeling on stone floors. Even the younger children seem to be focused on the mass the majority of the time. Entire families come to Mass. It's not just the grandparents here. It has a very young community. I would say 90% of the participants are below the age of of 50.
  
  I brought my grandmother with me to the Latin Mass on Christmas. She doesn't get around very well anymore but wanted to attend a Christmas Mass. She was a little alarmed when she seen the congregation. She asked where all the old people were with a shocked and horrified voice. I laughed and told her "they're here grandma. They are just brought their families with them." ?

  This is the only exclusively Latin Mass parish in the Pittsburgh diocese. Staffed by Canons from Institute of Christ the King we are able to be guided spiritually from a Traditional Roman Catholic perspective. There's no substitute for it. Thanks be to God that it's here.
