(September 13, 2020, 7:10 pm)I live in Carnegie and have been shopping at and purchasing bulk supplies from Jim Jenkins Garden Center for several years. This year’s bulk soil (50/50 top soil/ mushroom compost mix) has produced one of my most healthy and productive gardens to date. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable compared to some of the other nursery/landscape supply companies I’ve dealt with previously. Their prices are very much inline with other garden centers, and I feel their prices for the quality of their bulk soil and mulch is well below other centers. I’ve always felt their team is professional, helpful and able to point me in the right direction. All said, I highly recommend Jim Jenkins and will continue shopping here for years to come. A word of advice to those who buy bulk soils- please try the top soil/mushroom compost mix. For about $40/truck bed load, it’s one of the best values out there.
