(December 28, 2018, 12:23 pm)Amazing historic home. The bed was prefect, the sheets, the pillows, the mattress, it was amazingly comfortable! Breakfast was so delicious! Talking with other guests at breakfast, I learned several of them come stay regularly. Clearly Alpendof is doing things right.

Fascinating Inn, beautifully decorated with pieces from all over the world, extremely comfortable beds, absolutely delicious breakfast and 2 very gracious and knowledgeable host, Roland and his wife Ahn (sorry if I'm misspelling) Great value, we will stay here whenever we are in the area, strongly recommend,

(November 23, 2018, 11:01 am)We and my daughter and son in law stayed two nights over Thanksgiving. We particularly liked the friendly host, very comfortable beds and made to order breakfasts. We each ordered eggs a different way and all were cooked perfectly. Wonderful French toast as well. The living room was furnished with comfortable couches, a well tended fire, and lots of games. Would highly recommend!

(November 4, 2018, 3:43 pm)A recent stay in Media for a high school reunion was made so enjoyable by staying at Alpenhof! It felt more like we were staying with friends.
Roland was so accommodating. Breakfast with fresh fruit, juices, scones and muffins; choice of omelets, bacon/sausage, waffles or pancakes was always so good. I loved meeting some of the guests at breakfast, especially Ian and Wendy from England. Our room was one of the smaller rooms and so there wasn't enough room to accommodate hanging many clothes. If you stay here, I would suggest one of the bigger rooms if you're staying for more than a night. Nonetheless, we loved the room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The whole place, inside and outside, was very quaint, eclectic, and clean. We loved sitting downstairs, where there was a piano, books etc. We would definitely stay there again.

(October 14, 2018, 1:26 pm)5 stars all the way! Our stay was absolutely amazing. The cottage was so tranquil and so serene. Everything is beautifully decorated and the gardens are exquisite. But what will really keep you coming back is being treated like family by Roland and his lovely wife. We have decided we will be coming back atleast once a year. We are already planning our next visit!
