Twelve years ago I discovered Iyengar style yoga. The alignment based practice has protected and strengthened my body. The teachers at Practice Yoga, Ellen especially, have deepened all that I love about yoga. I have been encouaged to try new poses and at age 60 began doing handstands. At Practice Yoga I experience both a seriousness of purpose and pure joy.
This is a great studio the teachers are amazing and very knowledgeable, approachable and communicative. Highly recommend this studio.
I love this studio, over the years it has become like home. Every class is different allowing me to challenge myself in new ways. The teachers are attentive to each student making sure that they are using proper alignment and avoiding injury. Many different aspects of yoga are included in the training here allowing you push both your own personal physical and mental limits.
I have benefited greatly from alignment based Iyengar yoga. Ellen is attentive, challenging and knowledgable and also makes the practice accessible to every body type and level. She also makes yoga fun.
