I’ve had to call twice during my four years working downtown. Both times the women were absolutely excellent. In December I needed help for a guest who was exhibiting signs of mental distress at my restaurant. I was little nervous to call 911 for someone who needed help but also wasn’t being aggressive. I have never had a negative experience with metro police myself which is great. When you see the news from around the country you start to think twice. The woman who helped me gave me assurance that the situation would be handled safely and appropriately. The EMT was very nice to the young man and listened to the information I was able to gather. I just wanted to say thank you. I felt much more confident after speaking w/ her. As a community we are lucky to have her.
