Go early to avoid the crowds! Peaceful spots can be found past the main beach
I love this place. Probably my favorite lake area near Nashville so far. Water always feels great, plenty of shore to walk if you want to get your own space. Woods are nice too, enjoy walking through them. People seem to do a good job of cleaning after themselves which is nice. Overall a great place to spend the day with family or friends.
Friendly staff keeping watch over the entire area via golf cart. Play at the beach, launch your boat, picnic in the park, hike, or fish. It's even got a playground for the kids or adults who think they're kids haha.
Great place to chill with family and friends
I visited with place with my brother while looking for housing in the area. We loved this space so much that he is dead set on buying in the area so that he can use it onna regular basis. It is just $5 to park for a day and there is and endless amount of fun to be had here near the lake. It does get a bit crowded, which can be uncomfortable especially during this pandemic which is why I dropped one star. Otherwise, super fun and am excited to play here with my family in the future!
