The new Principle Gilpatrick Payton and Staff are amazing. The school endured change last year and the culture and environment are back to normal and healthy. What a blessing to watch the young people grow.
A gem of a school in NW San Antonio! My daughter started here in pre-K...she got a structured, quality education with a Christian background for less than half the cost of a local daycare (she had been going to Country Home daycare).
The teachers are there for the kids, not a paycheck...you don’t see teachers in their 20’s; these are parents and grandparents themselves who know how to teach and raise children in a loving way.
Families of Northwest Hills care for each other and truly become a family whose children become brothers and sisters with one another. It’s a family environment of love, warmth, and kindness. As I recently heard another parent say, “Northwest Hills is a bright light in a dark world, a diamond in the rough.”
My kids have been coming to this school since PK-3. My oldest is now in 4th and my youngest in 1st. We love the staff, the teachers are amazing. They teach the curriculum in a Christian way, always using the Bible; giving the young minds the foundation they so desperately need in this day. We've had some "stones along the way" but we have been able to overcome them and move on as one Christian family. I have not met one teacher yet who does not have the qualities of a Christian especially that of BEING HUMBLE, and that includes our new and amazing principle Mr Payton.
I moved my children from public school to private school last year. I was worried my children would have a hard time adjusting but the amount of care and love the staff (and children) poured into my children was overwhelming. I love that that everyone, from the Principal to office staff, all know my children by their name. My children receive personal attention and I am always made aware of any issues or concerns immediately. Mr. Peyton has been a great leader for this school this year and I love the middle school staff and the way they push my daughter to do her best. This is a great Christ-centered school.
Our family loves this school! Small class sizes, excellent Christ-centered curriculum, teachers and staff knew my children by name. Highly recommend this school!
