Oss karate Academy

My kids are enrolled in Oss karate academy for the past 2+ years. I wanted to wait till I post a review and I have only positive things to say about this place. Out of the many the one positive thing that stood out for me is Shihan Sura's extreme dedication and involvement with the kids. Kids really look forward to attending his class and I would highly recommend Oss Karate Academy for anyone who wants to learn Karate

Shihan Sura is uniquely talented in providing a knowledgeable karate program for children and all other age groups that promotes self- confidence, discipline, respect, and more. He is not only an instructor, but also a mentor to his students. The class is a very positive experience for anyone who decides to join.

I have been learning karate for over nine years under Shihan Sura. He is one of the best instructors you can find. He somehow knows how to work perfectly with each and every individual. Without Shihan Sura and karate, I definitely wouldn’t be nearly as disciplined or in shape as I am now. He has definitely been one of the biggest influences in my life, and I would definitely recommend Oss Karate Academy to all people of all ages.

I have been knowing Shihan for last 5 years, he is very dedicated, awesome mentor and great person.
I see in many places, they run the classes in business motive only.
But, he always think about his students and teaches in a way that they should learn all the techniques in slow and steady manner.
I would definitely recommend this Dojo if your kid wanted to learn Karate in a professional and effective methodology.

I can't speak to the later classes but my kid is enrolled in the earlier classes twice a week. The class sizes are small and each child gets a lot of one on one time with instructor Sura. He is energetic and enthusiastic, it's clear he has a passion for what he does. He also gives a lot of information about everything they learn.

I think this academy is fairly new but it's tucked away, I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for a flyer I randomly saw posted. Glad I had though!

My kid has a terrible attention span, pretty sure it's generic, but instructor Sura is somehow magically able to get him to focus and get him engaged in the activity. There's a designated sitting area with chairs where you can wait and watch the lessons.

The facilities aren't brand new and aren't overly fancy but it's clean and well taken care of. The mats are in great condition and the bathrooms are nice and clean.

The cost is extremely reasonable and the material costs are minimal.
