Mr. Claiborne helped me on a problem I had with a roofing company that had quoted replacing the roof on my home. The quote was for 5/8” Radiant Barrier decking which is the minimum thickness per Dallas building code. The roofing company instead replaced the decking with 7/16” thick decking to cut corners and increase their profit. When it was brought to my attention by another contractor working on the siding and interior of my home. I contacted the roofing company and explained to them the situation and told them they would have to come out and replace the decking they used with the correct decking. The roofing company refused to complete the work on my home. I had to contract a different roofing company to remove and replace the roof that was not to code. The first roofer placed a lien on my house, and later sued me. Mr. Claiborne is very knowledgeable about liens, and he convinced them the lien was invalid for several reasons. Then he succeeded in having the lawsuit dismissed.
