It has an awesome playground for the kids, basketball courts, pavilions, multiple nature trails, and gorgeous views hidden right in plain sight.
A good place to find a nice shady spot for a picnic.
Updated 6/24/2022: the park is still awesome, but it's hot out now! Remember to wear sunscreen and bring some water to keep your trip fun!
The park is also beautiful at night for a stroll. -

(March 18, 2022, 7:28 pm)This park has a bit of everything for everyone. The paved jogging path is beautifully maintained and a good length. There is also a set of trails (cluster of wooded paths, not paved) on the east side of the park. The playground is unmatched for this area; just so many fun options. There are a few large covered pavilions available. Also, the pond there seems to be very popular for fishing, although I just appreciate it for the ambiance it provides.
