  Thanks to Miller's to pointing out my original review was incorrect. I had confused Miller's with another location on the seawall. So here goes... Do not judge Miller's by the building's bland exterior, as the decor is quite welcoming and rather cozy. It was a 30 minute wait, and worth staying put until we were seated for dinner. Service was spot on. When in Galveston try something you normally cannot get at home. We opted for shell fish, and it was quite good. Whether something is the "best" is very subjective, though I feel confident you would not be disappointed. I do not normally eat a lot of seafood, but crab and shrimp are my mainstays when venturing into the unknown. The big question everyone wants to know is "would I eat there again?" Yes. There were several interesting options on the menu, so I would order the crab again and then delve into the other offerings. The only knock against Miller's is the same issue up and down the seawall; parking can be a challenge.

  My husband and I ate here twice and both times the meals, wait staff and the ambiance were incredible. The food is delicious and is very inexpensive for the portions you receive. The only draw back is the 1 to 2 hour wait, but it totally worth it. Will definitely go back!! Michelle Rocks!!

  Highly recommended if your visiting Galveston. This place has a long wait, but it's worth the wait! Food was amazing! At first I didn't understand why people would wait so long, but once your seated it's all uphill from there. I will definitely be coming back for more!

  Very pleasant place to eat at and has a window view of the ocean. As far I can know there is no outdoor seating. I had the fried fish and shrimp which was quite good and was a good value. I noticed quite a lot of people were ordering breakfast items even though it was late in the day.
  
  However, there are some things that you should know before eating here. 1. it is a rather small restaurant and will fill up quickly. 2. The gumbo is nothing like the Cajun style that I am use to. I would say it is more like a chowder. It tasted fine but just a heads up. 3. They make their Margaritas with wine instead of Tequila which I found quite enjoyable.
  
  Overall a very pleasant place to eat at.

  I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this place was too fantastic not to! I stopped by with my mom and we had the chicken fried steak and a burger. They were both delicious! The view was great, the service was great (thank you Lauren! You were absolutely wonderful!), and everything we ate, main course and sides, were phenomenal! Mom and I were already making plans to come back before we even left the place!
  
  If there were any downsides, I’d say definitely make a point to come in before the dinner rush. We tried to come in before and were told that it was an hour to an hour and a half long wait! I’m just glad we took that as a sign that this was a place we needed to try out!
  
  All in all, this was a great place and if we ever find ourselves in Galveston again this is definitely a place we’re making a point to stop by!
  
  Edit: Stopped by again today, still just as great! Had the gumbo and hands down it was some of the best gumbo I’ve ever had. Michelle was our waitress this time and she was super fun to talk with. Thank you Miller’s for the great time!
