I highly recommend Dr. Troutman to any patient who wants an doctor who is an expert in Gastroenterology and who also takes the time to: 1) listen to his patients; 2) explain his findings and recommendations; and 3) clearly provide a treatment protocol both verbally and in writing so the patient can remember and follow his advice. I've been going to him for years and he is the best Gastroenterologist my husband and I have ever encountered. He is also a highly respected physician/professor at the University of North Texas Medical School. He deserves 6 stars instead of 5!
