Good Vibes Chiropractic

So I threw my back out for the first time in my life. I thought after day or two I would be fine, but it continued to get worse. I started to not be able to stand on my own. I could barely walk without assistance. Every night between 2am-3am I had to stumble to the bathroom to take a hot bath to loosen up my muscles enough to sleep. I decided to talk with Dr. Summer about my back and she found that my muscles were seizing up and I had some intense inflammation. My pelvic was so tight it was pulling on my lower back not allowing me to stand up fully. Dr. Summer was able to finally get my muscles to calm down. She had to have me do some pretty intense stretching and maneuvers just to get my body to let go. After one session I could already feel the difference in my ability to stand and walk. She let me know that we would need to continue to work everything back into place so it doesn't slip back fully again. After a few sessions I was feeling so much better that I thought I could do a brief yoga session at home without consulting her. After 10 minutes I couldn't even stand up anymore. I went back to Dr. Summer for our next schedule appointment and found out I made myself way worse than before. She had to beat me up a little bit to get me back to where I was prior. She implemented some ultrasound therapy which I have never heard of before. It took my pain away for a few days at a time, sweet relief. I saw her over the course of the next few weeks. With every session I improved a very noticeable amount. She offered some very practical additions to my care that I could do at home which included some stretches, exercises, and Epson salt soaks to help with pain. The pain started going away for days at a time and when it would come back it was almost unnoticeable. Today I am feeling amazing and finally getting back to business as usual. I always believed in chiropractic care and now I know beyond the shadow of doubt the power behind it. I owe Dr. Summer my ability to stand and move normally. Which I won't take for granted again. I sincerely thank her for everything she has done for me and my family. You're the most amazing Chiropractor! I look forward to the next adjustment!
