I have used Camilla for placenta encapsulation after both of my babies and she was excellent! She came to the hospital to pick up the placenta and brought the pills to my home the next day. She is an extremely caring professional and has followed up with me regarding my postpartum care and general well-being. She genuinely cares for her client's! As for the placenta pills, I have never experienced any postpartum depression and feel like I have more energy when taking the pills, which is greatly needed when you're not getting a lot of sleep bc of a newborn. I have also had a great milk supply with both my babies and I'm sure the placenta has a lot to do with it. Camilla and her placenta encapsulation is the way to go!!

Camilla worked with us again recently and I'm so happy to have her as support and a trusted resource! We knew each other at Department of State and ended up collaborating on a few projects before I had my miscarriage. She offered real support before and after. She hand held us through getting pregnant again and was our child birth educator and labor and postpartum coach for our first. I had a tough first delivery and she was their the entire time and helped us navigate everything. She has a spectacular relationship with the nurses at our hospital (I think she must have transferred her own midwife patients there). Our second pregnancy came with a series of challenges and I was not able to be considered for an out of hospital delivery. Luckily it was a quick and happy experience when the day actually came. The second one happened so fast and I'm so glad Camilla talked me in to going to the hospital or we would have had a road side baby. She called ahead and collaborated with the hospital who met us outside for an adventure through the lobby! She can be pretty firm for such a kind, calm, and warm demeanor, I find this helpful. I was concerned she was to stop working as a doula when she made a group and left it for the nursing midwife focus. Her heart is with women and in advocacy, I quite like hearing those stories and I wish she would share them with more. I can't say enough about how helpful and reassuring it is to have somebody so knowledgeable and who cares so much so close to my family.
