  I've been bringing my 5 year old son here since he was 2, and it's definitely the best barber shop around for kids! I've gone all the way up to Westover Barber in Arlington and have tried lots of places just for kids, but they're more expensive and don't turn out nearly as nice as the haircuts at the Lorton Barber Shop. It doesn't have a truck-seat or any particular features for kids, but the barbers are all kind. My son used to be terribly fearful (we even had to leave another Lorton barber shop when he was 2 because he was sobbing so loudly!) but the barbers at Lorton Barber Shop helped him trust that they would not hurt him. I always ask for them to warn him before they spray with water, and they always do, which really helps. I'm grateful that not only does he look great, he feels comfortable. Highly recommended!

  Jack is the best but usually has a line waiting for him. Make sure you are very clear with Lynn about what you want or she'll do what she wants lol. I'd comfortable with anyone here cutting my hair I would just be very clear about what you want.

  My comment is referencing Mr. Webb's comment from 4 mos ago....are you sure you have the right barbershop? The one in the same plaza with Burger King? I've been going there for 20 years and never, ever had anything close to your experience! This place is always busy, professional, quiet and will give a quality haircut every time. If you ever had an issue, you should speak with Jack, the owner in the first chair.
