  I can’t quite use words to accurately describe how much I appreciate and rely on the doctor and staff of this vet hospital. Much like another client, my dog was taken in by the doctor and treated until she was well enough to be rehomed. Since I have had her, she has had more then her fair share of illnesses with varying levels of urgency. With each problem that we have faced, we have been provided with information to help us make the best decisions for her. While my dog is a medical nightmare in some sense I am glad to have a vet and staff that I can rely on for assistance and guidance when we need it. I could not have asked for a better veterinarian. And the excitement that my dog shows when she see the vet and staff just prove to me how much they care.

  Dr. Burke and her staff are awesome! I have been taking my german shepherd mix here for the last 2.5 years. The service is here is great and the pricing is reasonable. I have used the grooming and boarding services as well and have had no issues. I would highly recommend this practice.

  I have used Glen Allen Animal Hospital for 7 years for the care of my 3 dogs and 1 cat. Dr. Burke and staff are very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. One of my dogs was ill for two years and during that time we received exceptional care and guidance. My dogs get excited when I tell them we are going to see Dr. Burke!

  Dr. Burke is a wonderful vet and cares for all my cats - since 2010 - and we are thoroughly pleased with the care there. She took in a kitten hit on the road in front of the practice, nursed him back to health and let me know he needed a home...and I needed a baby! A perfect match!
  
  She continues to care for both of my furry babies and we love the practice!

  Dr. Burke and her staff have been a blessing to my family! They nursed my Annie through thyroid trouble and kidney disease, even helping me let her cross here at home to ease her chronic anxiety. They worked with me to capture an emaciated kitten in my yard who turned out to be a 6 year old girl dying of starvation. Pippi now is a healthy thriving girl and Dr. Burke continues to care compassionately and well for my girl. We would never use another vet!!!
