Jay and Danger will give you the freshest hair cut in the Hopewell, Petersburg, Fort Lee area. Black, white, curly, doesn't matter. They do have some odd tendencies. First, you feel like an idiot holding the wash cloth around your head. I've never had to do that before in the 30 years of haircuts I've had. Second, when he does do the wash cloth he puts it over the foam and wipes it all off. So, by the time he gets around to razoring, your skin is dry and it doesn't feel so great. Lastly, I get their new shop is much nicer and they offer coffee which is nice. But, $20 is a bit high for a haircut. I lived in NYC and Miami I paid $19. So, $20 is high for Petersburg VA. However, they can charge that because they are literally the best barbers you're going to get in the Fort Lee area.

Fab cuts. Good crew! Small shop. Go easy on them on the parking. If you want to make sure you can get a cut, make an appointment! But if they can squeeze you in, they will. Not sure what's up with the 666 number one of the guys has but okay.

Great place to get a haircut. Danger has hooked me up twice and I’ve left very happy with his work both times. All of the barbers in the shop are friendly and the owner, Jay, runs a great business. I’m going to keep coming back to this place whenever I’m in the Fort Lee area
