Virginia Beach Fire Department- Station 11

Showed up to an alarm at the hotel I stayed in and the firefighters were there faster than most guests left their rooms!

Also, shout-out to the firefighter that had to watch my friend drunkenly throw up while we waited for them to clear the building- thank you for the puke bag!

Thanks to the two amazing men that helped us tonight with our tire! I know it isn’t part of the job and was going the extra mile. We appreciate it so much!

I made a bone head play last night and locked my son in my truck. I tried to get in for about 2 minutes before I realized it was useless. I called the fire department and less than 3 minutes later Fire Station 11 came rolling up and popped my door in less than a minute. Luckily it wasn't hot outside and he was safe but it was still terrifying. They were awesome. Let my son and niece up in the truck and got some pictures. We are a lucky city to have men and women who not only risk their lives everyday but still take the time to come help out dads who screw up, although it doesn't happen often. Thank you fellas for helping us last night. Appreciative Dad.
