I didn't want to be intrusive coming to visit Kurt Cobain's house but it turned out to be just fine. They also have an area to the left of the house with a memorial bench for Kurt but also for Layne Staley from Alice In Chains. Glad I made the trek. Just be respectful and remember that this is someone's home.
Nice small park. If you are a Nirvana Fan this is a must stop. There is a bench tribute to Kurt Cobain. His last home is next to this park.
I was here for his 27th anniversary and it was a surreal moment. Unforgettable experience. I’ll be back again.
Took my grand-daughter and her friend to see Curt Cobain's bench to get pictures. Quite a bit of winding turns to get there and traffic. Maps takes you to the street below the park but if you go around you can park above it and walk down the stairs to get to it. You can see the top of the house he lived in, but it is on private land. The park itself is not real big. There are two beaches, one dedicated to Cobain and another one a ways away.
This park is dedicated to Kurt Cobain. The are two benches , and one of them is where you can write what you feel .Many people have left notes , Flowers , ect.ect...even I have written on that bench, Nirvana will always be one of my Favorite Bands .And Kurt one my favorite artist ever....
