So welcoming and we had such a lovely time at the Hanukkah party!!!! Can't wait to go back again.
In my case, this is certainly not my father's synagogue (and that's a very good thing!). My connection to Judaism has grown in ways that I never imagined. KHN is a dynamic and modern and socially aware place to find your Jewish spirit with others that are taking a similar yet uniquely personal journey. The inclusivity is broad and genuine - there is no "typical" member as we cross the spectrum of family type, religious backgrounds and upbringing. It's been a blessing in my life to be a part of KHN.
Celebrating its 13th year in West Seattle, Kol HaNeshamah's members are a compassionate, tolerant, progressive, smart, creative and delightful bunch. Judaism is practiced in any number of ways -- KHN allows everyone to feel connected via social, intellectual, spiritual or other artistic ways.
The "Open Tent" feel and progressive approach to 21st Century Judaism
Love this synagogue - open and inviting, I felt part of it the moment I walked through the door!
