(June 2, 2019, 12:53 am)I was running late because "Stella" saw the cat carrier and hid on me. I called the clinic and were totally understanding. As soon as I fooled her out of hiding, I ran with her like a football. They checked her out right away and all is well. Friendly and fun staff who love our furbabies.

(May 6, 2019, 10:35 pm)Admittedly, this is the first review that I’ve written online, but if you read to the end you’ll find this very useful. I felt it necessary to leave a review as I found the reviews for this vet clinic were hit and miss for positive and negative. I’ve been working in IT for 10 years now so I make it a point to leave accurate information for everyone I come across in my profession.
My mini Aussie is 4 and became ill early last week and was not himself for a couple of days. He hadn’t eaten, drank water, and was very lethargic. He even turned down treats. I sought the advice of friends and online searches and came to the conclusion that he needs to go to the vet to get diagnosed. I live alone so my financial resources are very limited and I wanted to avoid expensive emergency fees (ranged from $115-$200 in my area). I called around to several clinics to get an appointment scheduled and the earliest date I could get was a week away. Seeing as my furry friend hadn’t eaten this was NOT an option. I called Oak Creek Veterinary Care and was able to get an appointment 45 mins later. They were up front about the $55 consult for bringing him in right away over the phone and even explained that having the appointment later in the day (3:30PM) would limit the diagnosing options that they have available. Knowing this, I still showed up and found the clinic extremely neat and tidy, the staff was polite from the receptionist to the veterinary staff. My dog was handled very gently, and after the consult I was given 2 separate treatment options within 5 minutes. Both options came with 2 different prices, the cheaper option was broad spectrum, and the other was more targeted and included the first option as far as medication. I appreciated that they listed both options and included on the estimate exactly what I was paying for. I didn’t feel pressured at all to make a decision and to my surprise the $55 consult was included in the options and not added on later which I read in a review for this clinic.
Taking into account the same day availability, the cleanliness of the clinic and politeness from the staff, that I was given 2 treatment options for my budget (or the option to refuse treatment and leave with the information from the vet), and lastly the overall feeling that though this was my first visit, I had been there before. I give this clinic 5 stars! I’m happy to say that my little best bud is back to his usual self (I chose the cheaper $250 option) and should anything come up in the future, Oak Creek Vet Care is my first and only choice.
Based on my experience I would say that any negative review for this clinic is more a reflection of the reviewer and not the clinic or any of the staff. If you read a negative review for this clinic, I would suggest you read more carefully as to what the complaint is actually about as it’s not useful. No one is perfect, but the staff truly strives to be their best and it shows. If I would’ve chosen the targeted option for twice what I paid I would feel the same.

You can tell the doctor, nurse and office staff were all concerned about our dog's wellbeing. All turned out well in the end thanks to outstanding people!
